ALandscape company expands in 2015

LAKEVILLE - Alandscape and Design, 3195 Rochester Rd., plans to open a 750-square-foot greenhouse this month that will feature annuals, perennials, and hanging flowers.

The new addition is an extension of the business’s commitment to offer the best selection of plantings to the community, owner Al S. Roome said.

“After many years of selling hardscapes materials used in landscape projects I have come to realize the need to bring my many years of landscape design skills along with plant knowledge and use to my customers. Combining these two elements is necessary in the completion of beautiful landscape projects,” Roome said.

Alandscape and Design, which started in 1992, employs a seasonal staff of eight.

The business serves residential, commercial and public clients throughout Livingston, Monroe and Ontario counties.

Complimenting the green house plants are culinary herbs, ornamental trees and grasses, evergreen and flowering patio pots.

A variety of stone and landscape mulch continues to be offered on site, as well as a complete design service specializing in garden walls, patios, water features and walkways.
